Today I bring you a batch of beautiful Bakelite Knobs dating to the 1930s.

The Butterscotch colored ones are my favorites.

  2. Isn’t it remarkable that a lot of “K”words start with “Kn”? The “K”is often not pronounced in English while we in Holland have the same words, but we pronounce both “K”and “N”,like in “knop”(knob) and “knecht”(knight), meaning servant. We have “Knie”( knee). Our languages have a lot in common, being of the same roots.
    Thanks for your comment.
